Cut and Paste in the Nano Editor
To start, move to the text you’d like to cut, then hit the following keys on your keyboard:
CTRL + 6
Then with the help of your keyboard’s arrow keys you’ll have the ability to select the exact word(s) you are looking to cut and paste elsewhere.
Once you are done selecting the desired term to cut and paste hit on your keyboard:
CTRL + K
This will cut the selected text.
Then all that its left to do is to navigate to the line where you’d like to paste the text by hitting:
CTRL + U
